Name: Inéz Diaco

Inéz comes from the 2015 manga Biohazard: Heavenly Island, appearing in volumes 1, 2, & 3. When interacting with her, there might be blood, violence, gore, death, and body horror. Except for violence, all of these things will be tagged as cw: subject when applicable.

Personality: Brave, resilient, and selfless, Inéz is always putting the well-being of others above her own. If a friend calls because they're stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire, she's dropping what she's doing to lend a hand. She's always ready to stand up and step in when she thinks there's a need to.

While generally known for having a friendly demeanor, Inéz is also known for being almost eerily calm and controlled when angry. She's a protector at heart and her anger most often flares when those she cares about are harmed.

If Inéz is tired, drained, or in pain, she downplays it until it becomes dire because she doesn't see herself as the priority. She just gets back up, dusts herself off, and keeps pushing on.

A T-virus attack in Inéz's hometown in 2006 changed the direction of her life. She lost her younger sister, she lost her home, and she nearly lost her dad. During the aftermath, TerrSave, a multi-national and non-governmental human rights agency, showed up to provide aid.

Inéz had previously been working toward a career as a mixed martial arts coach, but she abandoned it to join TerraSave, wanting to help others the way her family had been helped.

Verses:

I just want to help out. (TerraSave) – Follows Inéz as she works for TerrsSave before the events of Heavenly Island. Can be set anywhere in 2008 to 2013.

We're here to investigate. (Heavenly Island) – Follows the events of the manga. I'd be interested in running through what-ifs!

I survived Heaven. (Post-HI) – Anything that takes place after Inéz manages to survive the events of the manga. Following a recovery period, she's back to working for TerraSave. Takes place any time after things go down in 2014 and the present.

I can never close my eyes. (Resident Evil movieverse) – The incident in Inéz's hometown is no longer isolated and is pushed back to align with the start of the apocalypse. She loses all of her family and heads off on her own, eventually becoming a part of Claire Redfield's convoy, a victim of the Arcadia trap, and a part of the survivors that journey back into the Hive with Alice.

I step in when needed. Simple as that. (Crossovers) – A generic verse for crossovers.

Other:

Canonically, Inèz dies after getting speared by the claws of a Hunter toward the end of the Sonido de Tortuga Incident. However, I have her survive either by being pulled out of the way or narrowly dodging by rolling, receiving a far less severe injury as a result of rolling.

Inéz vastly prefers hand-to-hand combat over using a weapon, but the contagious nature of most B.O.W.s means that you'll typically see her using a gun.
